Book 'Em, Danno!

I've been tagged so much lately that I'm starting to feel like Minnie Pearl. Lauren tagged me for this one a while back, and I'm just now getting to it. Sorry, Lauren! I think it's been around a few times, and I don't know who else to tag, so I'm just going to put this one out there.

1. One book that changed your life: Besides the Bible? Returning to Holiness by Dr. Gregory R. Frizzell.

2. One book that you’ve read more than once: Little House in the Big Woods. We have the Little House series, and my girls loved having me read to them.

3. One book you’d want on a desert island: Besides the Bible? The Rescuers, of course.

4. One book that made you laugh: Skipping Christmas by John Grisham.

5. One book that made you cry: What Was Good About Today by Carol Kruckeberg.

6. One book that you wish had been written: Bloggercise! Get Fit While You Sit.

7. One book you wish had never been written: Dianetics by L. Ron Hubbard.

8. One book you are currently reading: Voices of the Faithful by Beth Moore and Friends.

9. One book you’ve been meaning to read: Pawley's Island by Dorothea Benton Frank.

Consider yourself tagged if you haven't already done this one, and/or let me know if you have so I can come visit.

Be blessed!

You just have the greatest sense of humor! I wish we could sit and talk over a coke (or diet DP) sometime. Or you probably like sweet tea!

Regular coke or C2 for me, please. I do like sweet tea, but I prefer it unsweetened. It would be fun to sit and chat, wouldn't it?

I'm afraid to comment, will that mean I'm tagged? Not a lot of time for tagging this week. We're painting everything in sight. Skipping Christmas - I read it, I saw it, I considered doing it! And Bloggercize - get fit while you sit - let me know when it gets published. I need that one! Wonder - does foaming at the mouth over blogger count burn calories?

These tags are great to let us get to know you better! I have been tagged a couple of times...and have not posted my response as of yet. I'm not a good player-I KNOW--I don't mean to be rude...just that summer got in the way of the game! Maybe once Sam is in school--I'll get my reply up. Or maybe it's just that I've never been good at being "IT!"

This particular tag means I have to get a little organized....in my thinking and in my bookshelves! Since I"m neither.....it may take a little longer! For the "I AM" meme....one of my first I AM's......is: I am NOT organized! Makes a quick tag response a little difficult! I value organization--clearly not enough to make it happen!

Love the book you'd like to write! Bloggercise! Perfect!

The Rescuers. Of course you'd think of that, just like you'd think of getting fit while you sit. Did I tell you I'm up to size office chair now? Skipping Christmas was a hoot and I didn't realize Grisham could be funny till I read it.

Dorothea Benton Frank is one of my favorite authors. I have all her books. You'd like her newest, Full of Grace. But my all-time favorite is her first book, Sullivan's Island.

Bev, I think foaming at the mouth burns calories. And sweating bullets. Anything that causes loss of bodily fluids must result in weight loss, right?

Size office chair made me laugh, Barb. I'm with ya. The more I sit, the more behind I get.

You recommended DBF to me, and when I went looking for her, Pawley's Island was the only one I could find. I don't even remember where we were, but it wasn't a bookstore. I need to read it so I can go get the others!

Bev, foaming at the mouth does indeed burn calories, as does sweating bullets. Jumping to conclusions, beating around the bush, and running off at the mouth do too, I think.

Bloggercise. Sounds good to me! Can I double my calorie burn if I bloggercise at Starbucks?

Hi there!

Now that you did this meme, I've tagged you for another. You'll like this one. It's the Three Things About My Kids Meme.

Just in case you were bored or something.

OK. I was just going to let it pass. But oh my word, "the more I sit, the more behind I get" is sooooo true. Leave it to you.

Sounds like we're all dealing with the same weighty issues!

Brenda - I will respond to the novel tag. I forgot today!

I love # 6, too! Let me know if you ever come acrossed it at the book store. I will be there, standing in line!
This was fun to read!
Oh, and I'll be getting to that one you tagged me for tomorrow night!

Melanie, I think Starbucks offers the optimum in calorie-burning blogging, which would explain and perhaps justify their prices.

Dawn & Tammy - can't wait to see yours!

Barb, you make me laugh. At least you didn't tag and run!

Very cute meme! The Little House on the Prarie series is one of my all time favorites as well.

Thanks for your comment on my Older Parent (revealing my age)post!

I love the part where you said that everything you learned about parenting you learned from your kids. That is so neat! :)

Thanks again for sharing.

I'm impressed. I can't think of one book I've read lately...since I haven't read a book other than the Bible lately. Maybe bits and pieces like a book about Job.

PS...I finally, finally, finally did the novel meme! Aren't you proud? ;)
