Bloggy Tour of Homes

Welcome! So glad you could stop by. Our house was built in the '60's and was one of the first in the neighborhood. It needs a bit of a makeover, but it's home. Come on in!

Here's my little corner of the world, where the bloggy magic happens. Can you see whose blog I'm visiting? It's BooMama, blogger extraordinaire! She's the organizer of this tour, so be sure you drop by her place when you leave here.

This room is known as the living room, but apparently the plant hanging from the ceiling didn't get the memo. It was green when I got it. Good thing my kids aren't houseplants!

Here we are, back in the kitchen. It's small, but it's clean, thanks to the hubster. Can I get you anything? Coffee, perhaps?

Oh, that's right. You've got places to go and people to see. Well, I enjoyed your visit. Hope you did, too. Y'all come back now, y'hear?

Can I just come stay with you for a while? Because this looks so comfortable, I just want to be there. And I have to ask you just this one little thing. Is that your dog's behind at the bottom of your living room photo? I know you have one - I saw the dog biscuits in the kitchen. My favorite part of your home? Seeing where you sit to do your posts. I swear, Brenda, I'd really love to just come visit for a while. On my way to the Outer Banks of course, but hey! You could come with! xoxoxo

Brenda said...

LOL. Yes, Barb, that is muttbutt in the living room photo. Her name is Lickerish, aka Poopsie, and she's a German Shepherd mix who believes she's a lap dog. She has an adopted younger sister named Mocha who appears to be a Lab/Rottweiler mix. They're almost as obedient as their human sisters, but not nearly as mouthy.

Come by anytime. I'd love to go with you to the Outer Banks!

Can I go with y'all to the Outer Banks? I've never been there, and I can't think of better company. I'll bet we could get a bunch of girls ready to go in no time. ;-)

Brenda, I noticed the dog posterior, too, but it's because I always have a cat in my pics, and almost everybody in my family and my friends have dogs and/or cats. I noticed the cat on the front walk, too. And Barb has fish. :-)

I feel at home already, Brenda. Good job, and may I have some of those Hanover's pretzels on the microwave if I visit? I love pretzels. :-)

Diane@Diane's Place said...

Oops...I think those are Snyder's instead of Hanover's...Doesn't matter, I'll eat either one if I can catch them. ;-)

Now that's a pretty sweet little shout out that my blog is in the picture. :-) And your living room is almost exactly like I pictured - weird, huh? Love the tour!

As usual your narration cracked me up. I'm glad too that your kids arent plants. If they were and they started drooping you could send them to Barb's place. Her plants are always amazing. Me - not so much. I'm amazed if they live. Your home looks comfy, inviting, just like you are-. xoxoxo

And I was at the Outer Banks (on the other side of the country to me now) when hubby was stationed in VA...and we loved it. So can I come too? ;)

Please stop my humble abode when you have a chance...I was late joining in the tour, but the coffee's brewing now...:)

Thanks for the tour. I don't even have any dead houseplants ;)

I think the dried flower arrangement is a nice complement to the green walls :) I've got a couple of herb plants "drying" at the moment.

Your house looks so cozy!
I appreciate the tour!

Oh, can we drink our coffee while swinging in your front yard? Okay, so maybe it is a little warm, but the swing looks like a great place to have girl talk! I love the way your home is so cozy and inviting! And the plant... don't feel too bad... I actually killed an artificial fern once... yes, you read that right. I had an artificial plant that I had hung too close to an air vent. The warm air from the heater literally turned it brown!!!

Thanks for the visit! You home was great!

Brenda, I just got to your house. It's so good to go to one that looks lived in. That's what makes people feel comfortable.

Barb and Bev have talked about the Outer Banks. How far are they from you?

That's a classic! (I have the same brown thumb. Maybe we're related?)
